1. New Moon is the start of the shaping of the moon.  

2. Waxing crescent is the second phase of the moon.

3. 1st Quarter is the third shaping of the moon.

4.Waxing Gibbous is the fourth phase of the moon.

5.Waning Gibbous is the fifth phase of the moon

6. Last Quarter of half moon is the sixth phase of the moon.

7. Waning Crescent is the last phase of the moon.

8. New moon.
