“ Let’s sit down here “ said Ferah, my best friend.
We went and sat under the shadows of a big tree. I could see people handing out orange juice.
I started eating my lunch when I hear a person shout “ lolly scramble ! “. I run over to the crowd and managed to grab 3 lollies. I see the crowd not willing to depart from the sister. They were like airplanes who don’t know how to land. I run back to the place I was sitting and was about to eat one until my other friend, Tina comse. “ Hi “ she says. I give her one of my lollies because she had none. I see the waves trying to catch one another. The sunlight hit the waves with such a reflection, it was like a mirror. I could hear the waves hitting the uncountable sand with a splash. I can see the statue of Saint Joseph and the paradise Island : Rangitoto. I feel that the power of St. Joseph is guarding the Island from erupting. I can see white things flying until, I notice they’re seagulls and albatrosses. I finished eating and then run to the place where my friends are. Then in just a minute the teachers are rounding up their classes. I eat one of my lollies on the way and then I hopped on the bus and peeled the cover of my second lolly and popped it into my mouth. Mmmm, pineapple flavour, my favourite flavour. As the bus starts to move, the chapel and the centre becomes more little and little until it’s no more.
As the bus drives out of the place I feel the history of our little school and many more school’s history knowledge in my body.
