Are you a person who takes sports drinks on Saturday Sports ? At Otago University researchers found out that many drinks that kids take for Saturday sports are filled with sugar. Most children in their survey said that they drink the drinks because of the advertisements where they say it will only give you more energy to play sport and run. Dr Smith says children who play 90 min in Saturday mornings don’t need sports drinks to give them energy and re - hydrate them. He says that water will give you more energy than sports drinks. Some sports drinks are : powerade, gatorade, staminade sport, vitaminwater, propel, lucozade, all sport, mizone, Accelerade, relive energize, isostar, fuze, FRS, rebound Fx, pocari sweat, cytomax, G2, Innergize, monster, oshee, aquarius, coco5, 100PLUS, mystic and Smart c+. But, if you estimate the amount of sugar in each one, you wouldn't dare to have 1 drop of it. So have we all decided water is the best sports drink ?
